Robert Arckless
Robert Arckless has served as a District and Town Councillor since 1983 and as County Councillor for Amble since 1989. He is a past Town Mayor of Amble, Chairman of Alnwick District Council and is the current Chairman of Northumberland County Council. Robert was born in Amble and has lived here all his life. He is a History graduate with a special interest in education and is a past Chairman of Governors at Amble Middle and Amble First Schools, both of which he attended as a pupil. He was a founder member of Amble Development Trust. He Chairs the District’s Crime and Disorder Partnership and the Youth Project Management Committee.
